Rushville Public Library

Discover a world of knowledge, creativity, and connection. Our library is more than just books; it’s a space for learning, storytelling, and community events. From children’s storytime to digital resources, the Rushville Public Library is here for all ages.

Rushville Public Library (RPL) has been in existence since 1910.  Conceived, founded and fitted out by the Rushville Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, RPL offers resources, classes, arts, and culture to the citizens of Rushville and Rush County.

As part of the largest library system in Indiana, our patrons have access to 142 Indiana public libraries.  The combined 4 million resources are available to anyone who has a resident (or nonresident) card.  In addition, RPL patrons have access to over 200,000 ebooks, audiobooks and digital magazines.  Your card also allows you access to free video streaming, online class, online automotive manuals, and other digital databases.  We also offer a variety of programming throughout the year for all age groups, including our always popular summer reading programs.

Community is about partnerships and RPL is excited to be building on our community through this new enterprise.  Having the library in the same space our our fellow partners just makes sense.
